Short Story Blog Post 1 - Tristen Ting Prompt 10: Pre-Simulation Consultation XF007867 First off, the fact that this story is so short with little plot and lots of space to interpret would probably make this story a short film instead of an actual movie. Nevertheless, every film production aspect would play an important role. It could be argued that with less plot length, these choices would make an even greater impact on a short film than those for a movie. When thinking of a simulation with no true boundaries except for employee disapproval, I considered this story to be set into the future at least a decade or two. Considering this, the music would be futuristic and probably tech-related. Likewise, the setting is somewhat futuristic. Being just dialogue, the story doesn’t discuss the setting at all.
